Care Instructions

When receiving cut flowers it is best to follow these care instructions:

• Always be sure to give your cut flowers a fresh cut upon receiving them and place them in fresh water, if not already pre-arranged in a vase for you. Add the floral food provided by your florist.

• If your cut flowers comes without a vase, after giving them a fresh cut, be sure to remove leaves that will be below the waterline. Leaves in the water will promote bacterial growth that can harm flowers.

• Keep your flowers in a cool spot, (18-22 degrees Celsius) away from direct sunlight, heating or cooling vents, direct drafts from a ceiling fan, and the tops of televisions or radiators. (Appliances like televisions give off heat, causing flowers to dehydrate.)

• If your flowers arrive arranged in green floral foam called oasis, be sure to keep the floral foam soaked in water at all times. You will need to water these arrangements more then usual, as this foam sucks all the water up that is in the container or vase, in order to keep your cut flowers last longer.
